Booking Terms and Conditions

  Payment and services of the tour package

The tour price is based on double occupancy and includes all services outlined in the itinerary, as well as any optional activities listed in the package. It does not include meals or services not specifically mentioned, flights or other transportation to and from the tour’s start and end points, visas, or personal expenses such as laundry, medical insurance, and communications (unless otherwise stated).

A tour reservation can be secured with a deposit of the 30% of the total amount of the tour price.

The final balance is due 30 days before the tour start date, unless specific hotels or suppliers require different payment terms for certain tours or departures. In such cases, these conditions will be communicated individually. Special payment terms may also apply to custom or private tours.

In the case of bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. If the above-mentioned payments are not received by the established deadlines, Biking Sardinia reserves the right to cancel the contract.

The deposit and final balance can be paid exclusively by bank transfer made out to B-Action Srl, the company that owns the Biking Sardinia brand.

Booking Terms

When Biking Sardinia confirms availability for a requested tour departure date, our team will inform the customer of the deadline for paying the deposit in order to secure the temporarily reserved hotel rooms. This deadline is usually no more than three days after the customer’s email confirmation.

If the deposit is not received within the stated timeframe, Biking Sardinia will be unable to confirm the booking and a new reservation request will be required.

  Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your reservation, the following fees apply based on the number of days before departure:

  • 31 - 90+ days before departure: Tour deposit 

  • 30 days before departure: 100% of the tour price

Cancellation Insurance

Biking Sardinia strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance. This can help cover costs if you need to cancel your trip or if your trip is interrupted for any reason.

Cancellations by Guests
Our cancellation policy is strict and exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including but not limited to weather, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, or personal, family, or medical emergencies. No refunds are given for late arrivals or early departures.

Cancellations by Biking Sardinia
We may need to cancel a tour under the following circumstances:

  • Force Majeure: Biking Sardinia is not responsible for, and will not provide refunds for, events beyond its control, including, strikes, war, terrorism or civil unrest, government restrictions, changes in airline schedules or operations, threats of terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear events, epidemics or pandemics, illness, injury, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, delays or cancellations, adverse weather, fire, or the actions or omissions of third parties or any other circumstances beyond our control.

  • Flight cancellation: Biking Sardinia is not responsible for any flight cancellation costs or other fees, penalties, or indemnities.

 
 

  Transfer of the Contract

A customer who intends to withdraw from the contract may be replaced by another person, provided that:

a) Biking Sardinia is notified at least 3 calendar days before the tour departure date, together with the personal details of the replacement participant;
b) The replacement participant meets all the requirements necessary to take part in the services, in particular those relating to passports, visas, and health certifications;
c) The replacement participant reimburses Biking Sardinia for any costs incurred for the transfer of the contract, the amount of which will be communicated before the transfer takes place.

Both the original customer and the replacement participant are jointly responsible for payment of the travel package and the amount referred to in point (c) above.

During the tour, guests are covered by our Civil Liability Insurance (RC)

Policy No. 1505002558/U, NOBIS Compagnia di Assicurazioni S.p.A. – Professional Liability.

We are members of the Guarantee Fund pursuant to Articles 47 and 49 of the Italian Tourism Code, which travelers holding a valid contract may access in the event of bankruptcy or insolvency of the tour operator, in order to obtain a refund of the amount paid.
